FORCE MAJEURE:

 

Any delay in or failure of performance by Room for a Trade under this Agreement will not be

considered a breach of this Agreement and will be excused to the extent caused by any occurrence

beyond the reasonable control of Room For a Trade including but not limited to acts of God, power

outages, natural disaster, closure of airspace and governmental restrictions.

 

Room for a Trade does not accept responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damages to your

property or contents arising in connection with your use of this Website.

Room for a Trade shall not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect

injury arising in connection with your use of this Website, including without limitation any physical

injury suffered on any listed property or at the hands or by the negligence of any member or other

person, and any damages to your property. Room For a Trade shall not be liable whatsoever for any

lost profits, losses, punitive, incidental or consequential damages or any claim against Room for a

Trade.

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall Room for a Trade be liable to

you for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages even if

Room for a Trade have been advised specifically of the possibility of such damages, arising from the

use of or inability to use the service or any links or items on the service or any provision of the terms

of service.

We rely on the integrity of our members for accuracy of all the information provided, condition of

the accommodation and the ability to carry out the required work to a high standard. The only

responsibility of Room for a Trade is to make listings available to its members.

By adding your Homeowner listing to the Room for a Trade Website, you will add information about

the property as well as it’s location. This information will be visible to all visitors to the Room for a

Trade Website. Similarly, by adding your Tradesperson listing to the Room for a Trade Website, you

will be adding information about yourself in your Profile section. This information states the number

of people in your group, your Profile photo and other relevant information.

 

OUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE MEMBERSHIP

Room for a Trade reserves the right to cancel any membership for any reason, including misuse of

the Website, any action we feel compromises the security of the Site, any action that adversely

affects other members or their property, or any action we feel is detrimental to Room for a Trade.

We further reserve the right to cancel a membership if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you

have violated these Terms and Conditions or our posted Privacy Policy. If any information provided

by a member is found to be grossly misrepresented, or should the member’s home listing or actions

be in violation of any law or any provision of these Terms & Conditions, Room for a Trade reserves

the right to remove, at it’s discretion, the member’s home listing at any time, and/or to terminate

the member’s access to the Website, without refund. Room for a Trade may also terminate any

home listing or membership at any time for any other reason or for no reason at all at the Room for

a Trade sole discretion.

 

DISPUTES

Any disputes arising from the use of Room for a Trade or affiliate websites must be settled between

the parties who directly participated in the agreement. Room for a Trade cannot be held

responsible for any events that occur as a result of any agreement that is or was listed on the

Website. Room for a Trade may attempt to mediate disputes without assuming any responsibility

for subsequent resolution or failure to resolve

 

ROOM FOR A TRADE CHARTER

 

HOSTING

Welcoming Tradespersons and their families and guaranteeing them clean, warm, dry and safe

accommodation, and agreed meals.

Tradespersons to carry out the work agreed in a professional manner and in the agreed timeframe.

 

MATCHES

Any questions by either party are answered before arriving to carry out the agreed work.

Communication is maintained until their arrival. All members must commit to answer all messages,

even to decline a request. Cancellations must absolutely be notified as soon as possible.

 

TOLERANCE

Discrimination will not be tolerated, on origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, race

or religion.

 

INSURANCE

Everyone must be properly insured for the risks inherent in their activities.

 

PRIVACY

Room for a Trade undertakes not to use the data of their members for commercial purposes.
